The Janesce Glow | Transform Your Skin With Skin Soaking

DEHYDRATED BY DEFAULT

HOW TO SOAK YOUR SKIN

Do the Janesce Skin Soaking Ritual each morning and evening.

Prepare

Partially fill your hand basin with warm water / Add a few drops of rose or lavender Janesce Soaking Drops and take several deep breaths, enjoying the therapeutic fragrance.

STEP ONE

Immerse your Janesce Soaking Cloth in the warm water, wring out excess water and press the damp cloth to your face and neck area / Take five slow, deep breaths / Repeat several times to ensure your skin is fully hydrated

STEP TWO

Apply plant therapy to your skin with Janesce botanical mists, serums or concentrates.

STEP THREE

Immediately apply a Janesce moisturiser or facial oil to seal in all that botanically-enriched hydration.

Go into your day or evening with grace and gratitude.

Why We Soak Morning and Evening

To truly experience the transformative effect of skin soaking you need to do it religiously, both morning and evening. The skin cannot hold onto moisture for more than 12 hours so you need to top up topical hydration levels twice daily to maintain your beautiful Janesce glow.

THE SCIENCE OF SKIN SOAKING

The uppermost layer of the skin, the layer we can see and feel, is called the stratum corneum. This layer is made up of skin cells, layered like lasagna with alternate layers of oil and water – known as ‘bi-layers’. The architectural integrity of these skin cells, the amount of water and the quality of the oil (sebum) are all crucial factors which determine whether our skin looks vibrant and radiant or dull and devitalized.

The Janesce glow occurs when a well-nourished and hydrated stratum corneum, with an orderly architecture of oil and water bi-layers, reflects the light.
