Jans Fruit Slice


• 1 cup S.R. Flour,
• 1/2 cup ration sugar (dark brown, molasses based sugar),
• 1/2 cup walnuts,
• 1 cup coconut,
• 1 cup dates,
• 1 egg beaten,
• 1/2 cup milk,
• 4oz butter.


1. Mix dry ingredients
2. Add egg into milk.
3. Melt butter and pour over mixture.
4. Spread in slab tin and bake 350F for 10 minutes.

Extra Info:

For extra texture add a scattering of sunflower seeds on the top before baking
