Shea butter and avocado oil provide nourishing protection, while wheatgerm extract gives skin an enlivening boost. High levels of rose and lavender extracts help to balance and hydrate the skin. This lotion has a fine texture and a subtle botanical fragrance.

Aqua, decyl oleate, capryllic capric triglyceride, vegetable glycerine, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, vitis vinifera (grapeseed extract), soy lecithin, butyrospernum parkii (shea butter), ceteareth 12, ceteareth 20, rosa centifolia (rose extract), persea gratissima (avocado oil), alpha tocopherol (vitamin E), triticum vulgare (wheatgerm extract), whey powder, xanthan gum, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, lavandula angustifolia (lavender oil), melissa officinaIis (lemonbalm oil).
Decyl oleate and glyceryl stearate are skin-conditioning ingredients. Capryllic capric triglyceride is an excellent skin-replenishing ingredient which helps the skin resist moisture loss. It is made from coconut oil. Cetearyl alcohol is a white, waxy substance made from coconut oil. It is an emollient, which means it protects, softens and conditions skin. It doesn’t have the same effect on the skin as ‘regular’ alcohols. Ceteareth 20 and ceteareth 12 keep the other ingredients stable. Cetyl palmitate helps keep skin smooth and conditioned. It is made from plants.
Ethylhexylglycerine and phenoxyethanol are preservatives that are used in very low concentrations in some Janesce skincare products. They were chosen because they score very favourably on the EWG (Environmental Working Group) Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Database.

Janesce moisturisers are too concentrated to be applied to dry skin. They contain very little water because they are designed to go on damp skin, after the skin has been soaked. A Little Goes a Long Way
Because Janesce moisturisers are so concentrated they are very economical. You only need to use a small amount of moisturiser, about the size of one or two sunflower seeds.
